In Summer 2019, inspired by his lineage of Tibetan Tantra and esoteric practices,
Chiman experimented with the runway via a large-scale performance trial in Cambridge,
MA., that challenged the audience's perception of clothing and reality.
Through carefully-staged live and pre-recorded performance, shifting masculine
and feminine identities, transformed Qipao-influenced attire, and a dramatic final
reveal, the show explores contrasts between visual vs. audio, male vs. female,
costume vs. ready-to-wear, and belief vs. deception.

for visual presentation, at least for his own; he tried this through a style

At Robinson's place, Chiman began his couture journey with intensive training
in draping and sewing while becoming obsessed with lolita/doll clothing.
